Our stay at the resort was unforgettable, surrounded by stunning rainforest with the opportunity to spot platypus right nearby. The cabin was clean and equipped with the essentials but did feel a bit dated. The dining experience was excellent, offering delicious meals although a bit on the pricier side. However, the overall value for money left a bit to be desired due to some cabin issues.

I had a lovely time in the serene environment surrounded by breathtaking rainforest and wildlife. While the rooms were in need of modernization, the cleanliness and comfort made up for it. The dining options were a mixed bag; takeaway food was decent, but the prices felt a bit high, especially without breakfast available. Overall, it was a memorable experience, attended by friendly service, although the amenities could use a little update.

My stay was quite refreshing, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the escape from technology. The location is extraordinary for wildlife sightings, particularly platypuses. However, the rooms need serious renovations, and the dining experience was a bit lackluster given the prices, especially with limited seating options. Overall, it was a mixed experience with equal parts magic and frustration.

The location was simply amazing, right in the middle of the rainforest, close to the platypus viewing areas, which made it easy to enjoy the nature around us.
Dining

Dining was a letdown due to the limited options for sitting and the high prices compared to the overall quality. The takeaway meals were decent, but eating them in a dull room was disappointing.

I had a mixed experience at this resort. The location was truly captivating, allowing us to see platypus in the wild almost instantly, and the staff at reception were very accommodating and polite. However, the cabin I stayed in was worn out and could really use some refurbishing. I would love to come back for the stunning wildlife experience, but would prefer a refreshed cabin next time around.

Rooms
5.0
The cabin I stayed in was spacious but definitely in need of a good refurbishing. While it wasn’t dirty, it felt tired and outdated. On the positive side, the bedding was spotless and the bed comfortable.
Service

The staff at reception were genuinely helpful and friendly, making our check-in process smooth despite our late arrival.
Location
10.0
The location was excellent, surrounded by lush rainforest and right by the river where we could view the platypus. It was peaceful and simply perfect for nature lovers.
Dining

Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. The restaurant was closed, and the takeout food we ordered was quite awful and did not match our expectations.
Facilities

The small pool area was clean and looked well-maintained, providing a nice spot for relaxation.
